I was in full favor of open adoption. I loved the biological mother when we met and thought we had an amazing relationship. I shared every picture and even had her number on speed dial so she could hear the roar when he ran for a touchdown.I let him attend family reunions with her as he got older. She repaid my kindness by selfishly, behind my back , luring him 1700 miles away where she was living and was a "Friend" to him not a mother. It has put my son in an awkward situation and he feels torn. I would never do it again. I would wait until he was an adult. #4
